It all starts with ethics! Learn about what lawyers and clients expect from you in the workplace. A paraprofessional with a strong ethics foundation can handle the day-to-day demands of law firm life.

This "Back to Basics" seminar will cover ABA Rule 5.3- Responsibilities Regarding Nonlawyer Assistants and the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA)- Paralegal Cannons of Ethics. Whether you are new to the legal landscape or a seasoned veteran, this seminar is for you.

We will meet in small groups of 20 max via Zoom with paraprofessionals across the U.S. to discuss various law firm scenarios and the "dos" and "don'ts" of nonlawyer ethics.

To accommodate the demanding schedule of the paraprofessional, several dates and times have been made available the week of August 2nd. Sign-up today, space is limited!

This seminar meets the requirements of the NALA Certifying Board for continuing legal education credit required to maintain the CP (Certified Paralegal) credential. Seminar = 1 hour "Ethics"
